About Moonlight Drive
Jim Morrison wrote the lyrics for Moonlight Drive while he was living on a rooftop in Venice Beach. He later recited this as a poem to Ray Manzarek when they ran into each other on the beach in 1965. Ray thought it was great and convinced Jim to form a band. The rest is history!
